Back by popular demand, the Central Phoenix • Inez Casiano NOW chapter will repeat our Legislative 101 training AND do a Legislative 202 training in preparation for the upcoming 2018 AZ legislative session!

For 2018, our chapter’s legislative activism will focus on the passage of the ERA, repeal of the tampon tax and the introduction of child marriage laws in AZ.

If you missed the 101 in June, we’re doing an abbreviated “catch up” session from 6-7 p.m. Tory Roberg from Fortitude AZ will do 30 min of how the legislature works and Dianne Post, attorney from NOW will do 30 minutes on advocacy campaigns.

Then starting at 7 PM, Roberg will do one-hour on how to tell your story to your representatives and the legislature to make the most impact and Post will finish with a one-hour intensive on planning your advocacy campaign.

The training is FREE, donations (gladly) accepted, snacks provided, bring your own beverage.
