SPEAKER INFORMATION:
Stacy Pearson is Senior Vice President in Arizona for Strategies 360, a research, public affairs, and communications firm. She ran the campaign of the underdog who defeated Sheriff Joe Arpaio after 24 years in Maricopa County, among other victories. Stacy is the Media Director for the Democracy & Accountability Act.
Andy Gaona is a partner at Coppersmith Brockelman PLC, and focuses his practice in the areas of election and political law, commercial litigation, appeals, and public records. He has been recognized by Southwest Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in business litigation since 2014, and by Best Lawyers in the appellate practice since 2019. Andy helped to craft the Democracy & Accountability Act and the Second Chances, Rehabilitation, and Public Safety Act.
Roopali Desai is a partner in Coppersmith Brockelman PLC’s litigation group and is a leading election lawyer in Arizona, especially known for her experience representing initiative, referendum, and recall campaigns, having served as legal counsel for numerous successful statewide and local measures. She is recognized in several areas by Best Lawyers since 2016 and by Arizona Capitol Times as “Best Political Lawyer” in 2019.
