Hello Arizona Activists,
The Senate is moving closer to a vote on the Republican Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and it is a #BadDealForWomen. Not only does this tax plan raise taxes for women and families, it also repeals the Affordable Care Act (ACA) insurance mandate, causing 13 million persons to lose
Coverage.
Senators Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and John McCain (R-AZ) have expressed reservations about the tax plan, but they still might vote YES on this disastrous legislation. Senators McCain and Flake have taken a stand for their constituents in the past: now we need them to do so again. As NOW activists, we need you to keep up the pressure and mobilize your members! Below are action steps to stop this horrible bill.
1. Call Senators McCain (202-224-2235) and Flake (202-224-4521) to demand that they vote “NO” on the Senate Republican Tax Cuts and Jobs Act
