Dear Inez Casiano Chapter Members, As we know, there is a Peace Vigil on Friday, 1/20 from 7-9 pm currently at Hance Park. There is a protest at the capital that same day.

We have researched over the last couple of weeks to see if anyone is planning a march for Saturday, 1/21 in connection with the Women’s March on Washington and/or Roe v. Wade Anniversary.

At this time, we could not find anything being organized for Saturday.

Planned Parenthood is very busy with getting ready for the legislature.

Pant Suit Nation is in the middle of other projects. However, both groups have expressed support of such an event.

In addition to the Friday vigil on 1/20, one can go to Flagstaff or possibly Tucson. The new Tucson chapter plans to organize an event.

Some people are going to California.

At the last chapter meeting, several of you voiced strong opinions that we should have an event in Phoenix.

Would someone like to step forward to be the one in charge in organizing something? This can be a march, a rally, a gathering with speakers or what ever you decide. If you volunteer, you will have to meet with the officers so that we can discuss what you would like to do.

You will have to make sure to follow policies in your planning. If you are interested, please contact the three officers by Sunday, December 11 at 5 pm.

Thank you for your attention!
