Civic Spark

Civic Spark was created in response to a growing number of people reaching out in search of ways to get more engaged at the local level. (Thanks, Trump) This event will be a hybrid community-resource-meets-speed-dating event designed to connect people with the organizations doing meaningful work across our state. The goal of this event is to spark greater civic engagement by making it easier for folks to discover causes they care about and take action in their community.

There are  currently two dozen organizations participating, including the Arizona Housing Coalition, Save Our Schools, Sierra Club, Moms Demand Action, Children’s Action Alliance, Arizona List, Power in Numbers, Opportunity AZ, US Vets, and so many more!

Date: Saturday, August 9th, 9am – 11am
Location: Indian Steele Park Memorial Hall Building
