Dianne Post brought an action to the meeting. Uncage and Reunite Families, a local group fighting the cruel policies and heartless treatment of refugees and asylum seekers, is working with other groups to encourage Congress to do field hearings in Arizona to learn the depth and breadth of the man-made crisis. Only by seeing how it really impacts the communities and the people can good policy be made. So the chapter sent postcards to the Judiciary sub-committee chair asking for hearings in AZ.
Slack Presentation
Our guest speaker this month was our own Zoe Ebling who did a presentation on how to use Slack, “a solution that enables you to centralize all your notifications, from sales to tech support, social media and more, into one searchable place where your team can discuss and take action on each.” She has also provided her presentation for those who missed the meeting.
